Recent Road Accident Trends
This tragedy comes barely a month after another major road crash in Nyeri County, where 22 passengers were injured after a popular PSV dubbed “Uppercut” overturned in Dedan Kimathi Ward.
The Kenya Red Cross, which responded to that incident, urged drivers to exercise extra caution, especially during the rainy season when roads are slippery and visibility is reduced.
Road Safety Appeal
As Kenya continues to grapple with a surge in fatal road accidents, this latest incident highlights the need for stricter traffic enforcement and enhanced driver awareness.
