- Dial *254# on your mobile device.
- Select Option 4: Lipa Pole Pole.
- The system will show your SHA annual premium.
- Choose Hustler Fund as the payment method.
- Follow the prompts to confirm payment.
Note: You must have a clean loan repayment record on Hustler Fund to access this feature.
Option 2: Dial *147#
- Dial *147#.
- Select Lipa Pole Pole.
- Choose SHA Contribution as the payment purpose.
- Pick a payment plan—daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Payment is processed instantly and your Hustler Fund repayment begins.
Before proceeding, ensure your SHA records are up to date. If not, the system will prompt you to update your details before continuing.
Government’s Commitment to Affordable Healthcare
President William Ruto officially launched the Lipa Pole Pole scheme during the 62nd Madaraka Day celebrations in Homa Bay, stating that Kenyans can now pay their SHA health premiums through flexible installments.
The rollout is a partnership between the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, Mobile Network Operators, and Financial Institutions via the Hustler Fund.
