Internship Duration, Goals & Locations
The 12-month internship aims to offer practical training for recent graduates across fields such as hydrology, environmental science, civil engineering, GIS, and data science. Interns will be deployed to arid and semi-arid counties including Turkana, Wajir, Garissa, Marsabit, and Mandera.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a Kenyan citizen aged 18–35 years
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university
- Graduated no more than two years before the date of application
- Possess good communication and writing skills
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discipline
Intern Duties and Responsibilities
Interns will complete assigned tasks, participate in mentorship activities, uphold confidentiality, and report progress through quarterly evaluations. They must also be ready for deployment anywhere the HoAGW4RP project is active.
Compensation and Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend and field allowances based on government guidelines. A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the internship.
