Have you accidentally sent Kenya Power (KPLC) tokens to the wrong meter number? Don’t panic—you can still recover your tokens or request a refund by following the correct procedure. Here’s everything you need to know.
Step 1: Contact KPLC Immediately
The first step is to contact KPLC as soon as possible via their official social media handles or call center. You can reach them on:

Step 2: Provide the Necessary Details
When reaching out, have the following ready:
- The MPESA transaction message

- Your national ID number
KPLC will forward these details to the relevant revenue office to initiate the reversal.

Step 3: Visit a KPLC Office or Huduma Centre (Optional)
If social media or phone support isn’t sufficient, you can physically visit a Kenya Power customer service center or Huduma Centre. Carry the following:

Step 4: Wait for Confirmation
