Qualifications Breakdown
Court of Appeal Judge
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
- Qualified Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
- At least 10 years of experience as a judge, magistrate, or legal practitioner
- Proven professional competence, integrity, and communication skills
Environment and Land Court Judge
- Law degree or equivalent in a common law jurisdiction
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal academia, practice, or as a magistrate
Resident Magistrate / Adjudicator
- LL.B degree from a recognized institution
- Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with at least 3 years of legal experience
- Public sector, private practice, or legal academia experience qualifies
