Kenya Knocked Out of CHAN 2024 After Penalty Loss to Madagascar

 

Kenya’s dream of lifting the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) trophy ended on Friday after a tense penalty shootout defeat to Madagascar in the quarterfinals.

Match Ends in Stalemate Before Shootout

The Harambee Stars fought hard at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, but neither side could break the deadlock in regulation time. After a goalless 90 minutes, the match went into extra time, but the two teams remained level.
