Kenyan Pharmacists Wanted in Jersey Island: Apply Before June 18

 

The State Department for Diaspora Affairs has announced new employment opportunities for qualified Kenyan pharmacy professionals seeking work abroad. The job openings are based in Jersey Island, a British Crown Dependency, and are aimed at diploma and degree holders in pharmacy-related fields.

Kenyan professionals can now apply for pharmacy jobs in Jersey Island through the Diaspora Placement Agency (DPA).

Positions Available

According to a notice dated June 7, 2025, the following pharmacy-related roles are open for application:

  • Lead Pharmacist
  • Pharmacy Manager
  • Clinical Pharmacist
  • Lead Pharmacy Technician
  • Senior Pharmacy Technician

The government emphasized that the Diaspora Placement Agency (DPA) is the only authorized recruiter for these roles and warned against paying any recruitment fees.

Application Deadline

The deadline for submitting applications is June 18, 2025. Interested applicants are urged to act promptly to secure their place in the recruitment process.

  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Passport bio-data page
  • Kenyan National ID
  • Academic and professional certificates

How to Apply

Applications are being received online through a Google Form provided by the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official application form.
  2. Fill in the required information including:
    • Full Name (as per passport)
    • Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy)
    • Passport Number
    • Kenyan ID Number
    • Contact Number (WhatsApp/Mobile)
    • Email Address
  3. Upload necessary documents and submit the form.

Government Initiative to Promote Overseas Employment

This initiative comes after a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Jersey and a staffing agency aimed at facilitating structured labor mobility for Kenyan professionals. The move is part of the Kenyan government’s broader strategy to boost employment opportunities for citizens abroad.
