The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially reopened its online portal for the Second Revision of university and college programme choices. The portal, open from May 31 to June 7, 2025, gives KCSE 2024 candidates another chance to secure placement in higher learning institutions.

Who Should Apply?

In a public notice released on Saturday, May 31, KUCCPS called on two key groups:

  • KCSE holders who have not yet applied for any course
  • Applicants whose initial applications were unsuccessful

The agency emphasized that all eligible applicants should log into the portal at students.kuccps.net and select from the available programmes across universities, TVET institutions, and colleges.

Previous Deadlines and Updates

The second revision comes just days after the closure of the first revision phase on May 27, 2025. KUCCPS had earlier extended the revision window to accommodate candidates who had not secured placements during the first round.

“Applicants who did not secure a course in the application that ended on April 30, 2025, are invited to log in again and choose remaining courses as listed on the portal,” KUCCPS had stated during the May 18 announcement.

Next Steps for Applicants

Students are advised to carefully review course requirements, cluster points, and available slots before making selections. It is important to finalize applications before the deadline, June 7, 2025, as no further extension has been indicated.

To apply or revise your choices, visit the official KUCCPS portal at: students.kuccps.net.
