Legal Action Under Consideration

The company has also revealed that it is consulting legal experts and may take formal action against those spreading the false claims. Naivas called it a “targeted campaign of misinformation” and stood firm on its corporate ethics policies.

“Naivas has a very strict anti-bribery and corruption policy and will not submit to extortionary tactics,” the retailer added.

Call for Public to Rely on Verified Sources

As the matter gains attention online, Naivas urged customers and the public to rely on official communication channels for accurate updates regarding its operations.

The supermarket chain remains one of the largest and most trusted retail brands in Kenya, with outlets across major towns and cities.
