Jealous Ex Tracks Woman to New Home—What Happened Next Shocked Villagers
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have launched an intense manhunt for a suspect accused of violently attacking his ex-lover after tracing her to her new home in Kisumu County.
The suspect, identified as Sebi Obonyo, reportedly couldn’t come to terms with the fact that his former partner had moved on with a new man. Fueled by jealousy and rage, Obonyo is said to have followed the 24-year-old woman to her new marital home in Nyakbong’ village, Kamjulum, Kisumu East.
According to the DCI, the shocking incident occurred at around 4:45 pm on Friday, April 18. Obonyo allegedly stormed into the house and stabbed the woman twice—once on the chest and another time on the left ear—using a sharp object.
