PSC Announces 4,000 Internship Vacancies in Ministry of Lands – How to Apply
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has unveiled 4,000 internship slots in the State Department for Housing and Urban Development under the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development.
The vacancies, announced on Tuesday, July 22, target qualified Kenyans seeking practical experience across multiple professional fields.
Available Internship Positions
Some of the key areas with openings include:
- Architecture – 300
- Civil Engineering – 200
- Construction Management – 250
- Electrical & Mechanical Engineering – 400 combined
- Urban and Regional Planning – 150
- Digital Marketing – 50
- Human Resource – 20
- Valuers and Property Managers – 150 combined

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Graduated not earlier than 2018.
- Possess basic computer proficiency.
Duties and Stipend
The interns will support initiatives such as the Affordable Housing Programme and market project sites nationwide. They will receive a monthly stipend and, upon successful completion of the 12-month programme, a certificate from the State Department for Housing and Urban Development.
