KUCCPS Opens September 2025 TVET Intake for KCSE 2000–2024 Graduates at Reduced Fee
Nairobi, Kenya – The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the opening of applications for the September 2025 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) intake. The opportunity is open to all KCSE certificate holders from the year 2000 to 2024.
Reduced Application Fee
In a move set to encourage more applicants, KUCCPS has reduced the application fee from Ksh 1,500 to just Ksh 500. The placement agency says the adjustment aims to make TVET training more affordable and accessible for all qualified Kenyans.
“We want to give every Kenyan with a KCSE certificate, regardless of the year they sat for their exams, a chance to gain technical skills,” KUCCPS stated in a public notice.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to KCSE certificate holders who scored any grade between 2000 and 2024. Successful applicants will join various accredited TVET institutions offering diploma, certificate, and artisan programmes across the country.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply through the official KUCCPS student portal. Applicants are required to have their KCSE index number, year of examination, and ID or birth certificate number to complete the process.
Why TVET Matters
TVET programmes equip learners with practical skills to meet Kenya’s growing demand for skilled labour in sectors like construction, engineering, healthcare, and hospitality. According to KUCCPS, demand for technical skills is at an all-time high as industries shift towards skill-based hiring.

Deadline and Next Steps
